About

Welcome,
This is a resource guide for everyone to check in on for information throughout the course and beyond. I am going to leave the helpful hints up so you all can post comments to me and each other for a greater understanding.

As part of the RISE Digital Image class this site is designed for a online class. Displaying all the exercises and photos used in the class accompanied by video and reading material.

Those of you learning at home have the advantage of learning from home at your leisure but need to be a bit more computer confident. Rivier provides the latest version of photoshop in its labs but I will be covering the most common tools and the basics used in most photo editing programs. Having a good computer with a version of Adobe Photoshop is recommended. I will also try my best to answer and questions that come up during the course via email or posts.

This is a bit of a experiment for all of us I will be learning new things as well over the upcoming weeks.

General Rules
  1.  This is a place of learning so all general rules you learned in school apply: be considerate I will delete any wrongful comments and can regulate who can post etc. I am pretty much giving you free reign leaving that up to you all for now but will get strict if I have to.
  2. Things may be mentioned here instead of in class and vice versa so use of both resources is recommended for full understanding, though not required.
  3. For those not registered in the RISE program welcome but I will focus mainly on my actual students needs. I may not respond or your question will be addressed in the future. Those in the Nashua NH area that are 55+ check it out RISE is a wonderful and varied program.
 How To

As mentioned above you can add comments to posts and talk to each other via this blog and since my main audience is 55+ here is a little guide and why the font is so big ^_^.

Commenting :  At the bottom of each post there is a lot of  stuff to share the info. Commenting allows you to ask for help further information or add your own opinion etc.

Following:
  •         By going to the main page and entering your email in the follow by email thingy, clicking submit, enter the crazy code, and after getting a verify email click that link to confirm. Some people have had issues so don't worry.
  •          If you have a Google account you can also click the Join this site under Followers and follow the instructions
  •          Subscribing is another option  again on the main page. Then choose Google Yahoo etc or Atom for a bookmark link.
  •         NOTE I may be a young computer age person but I am new to the whole blogging thing so well see how it goes.
